This modern holiday house has been furnished to the highest standard to give you, your family and groups of friends a relaxing, luxurious break with beautiful, uninterrupted views across the lake to the countryside beyond.

Sleeping 9 (8 adults, 1 child plus room for up to three travel cots), this five bedroom house has two king size rooms (both ensuite), two twins with solid-wood beds and luxury mattresses and achild's bedroom (with 5 ft child bed) and three bathrooms. The modern kitchen (with its five hob overn, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and separate utility room with washer dryer) opens through to an oak-floored open plan living room with vaulted ceiling and a glass wall and sliding doors onto the balcony overlooking tSomerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the Estate.

In the summer you can sit on the balcony enjoying the view, eating freshly baked croissants bought from the shop. In winter you can snuggle up to the wood burning stove and play one of the many board games that you will find at the house. Goose Nest House provides you with the perfect, peaceful location to unwind and relax.

The Lower Mill Estate is England's first private nature reserve with seven lakes, three rivers (including the River Thames just three miles from its source and on the famous Thames Path), it has otters, deer, kingfisher and many birds which can be seen from the hides dotted around the Estate.

As well as a small shop, playground, trampoline and tennis courts, guests of Goose Nest have free, unlimited access to the £6 million Spa, opened in 2007. It has slate-lined indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, an `eco pool` where you can swim amongst the lillies; sauna; steam room and gym. Or you could treat yourself (extra) to one of the many pampering treatments on offer using organic products. If it is a more active holiday you are looking for, then as well as fishing and boating at Lower Mill, the Cotswold Water Park has plenty on offer. You can try cable-skiing, sailing, riding, golf or many other watersports.
