Goose Nest is a family holiday home which has been equipped with all the things you need when you go away to make it a home from home for you and your family. Your children's comfort and enjoyment are important to us - if they are happy their parents are usually happy!

In the specially designed small, child's bedroom with a child's bed , a selection of children's toys, baby monitor with night light. A travel cot with an additional breathable mattress is also provided. There are two stair gates and a baby carrier available. The child's bedroom will fit a travel cot as well as the bed but the layout of the room means it won't easily fit a child's inflatable bed instead of a travel cot.

In the kitchen, there is a high chair, steriliser, and a range of children's cutlery and plates. If you are making your baby's food, we have provided a hand blender to help with pureeing.

For older children there is a Nintendo Game Cube and a selection of games, a DVD player with a range of DVD suitable for children of all ages. For the more traditional amongst us, a wide range of board games for those long summer evenings.

Lower Mill Estate for Families

The Lower Mill Estate has been designed with chidren in mind. As well as use of the swimming pools at the Artspa, where children and families are welcome, there are playgrounds, trampolines, a pets corner, football pitch, tennis court and nature trails with bird hides dotted around the Estate.

Out and About for Families

In and around Cirencester there are a range of things to occupy the minds and feet! Cotswold Wildlife Park is about half an hour's drive away with a wide range of animals and a miniature train ride; Bourton on Water has a model village and separate model railway. For the animal lover, the RSPB's Slimbridge is within easy driving distance. Closer by is Butts Farm for families with petting areas and Keynes Country Park. Westonbirt Aboreteum is about 20 minutes' drive away and often has weekend and holiday activities for children. Cotswold Water Park has a range of activities for children.
