Goose Nest is a family friendly holiday home in the Cotswolds which has been equipped with all the things you need when you go away to make it a home from home for you and your family. Your baby, toddler and older children's comfort and enjoyment on holiday are important to us - if they are happy, then you are happy!
In the specially decorated small, child's bedroom is a low child's bunkbed, a selection of children's toys, baby monitor with night light. Two travel cots, each with an additional breathable mattress is also provided free of charge. There are stair gates; and a baby and toddler carrier available. The child's bedroom will fit a travel cot as well as the bed but the layout of the room means it won't easily fit a child's inflatable bed instead of a travel cot. The enclosed, glass-fronted balcony makes the living area of the house safe for todllers and young children.
In the kitchen, there are two highs chair, steriliser,bottle warmer and a full range of children's cutlery and plates and a toddler table and chairs. If you are making your baby's food, we have provided a hand blender to help with pureeing.
For older children there is a Nintendo Game Cube and a selection of games, a DVD player with a range of DVD suitable for children of all ages. For the more traditional amongst us, a wide range of board games for those long summer evenings.
Lower Mill Estate for Families
The Lower Mill Estate has been designed with chidren in mind. As well as use of theswimming pools at the Artspa, where children and families are welcome, there areplaygrounds, trampolines, chickens, football pitch, tennis court and nature trailswith bird hides dotted around the Estate.
Out and About for Families
In and around Cirencester there are a range of things to occupy the minds and feet! For older children and adults there is the Cotswald Inflatables just down the road, or archery, high ropes and paintballing all within 25 minutes' walk or a short five minute drive. The fantastic Cotswold Wildlife Park is about half an hour's drive away with a wide range of animals and a miniature train ride; Bourton on Water has a model village and separate model railway. For the animal lover, the RSPB's Slimbridge is within easy driving distance. Closer by is Butts Farm for families with petting areas and Keynes Country Park. Westonbirt Aboreteum is about 20 minutes' drive away and often has weekend and holiday activities for children. Cotswold Water Park has a range of activities for children.
