If you are a keen birdwatcher you can take a walk around the lakes and spot nightingales, cuckoos, kingfishers and birds of prey such as kestrels and falcon. There are even house martins and swallows nests on the houses.
As guests of Goose Nest House, you will have full use of the Lower Mill Estate facilities. The Estate Shop is open each morning where you can buy freshly baked croissants and pick up your paper (both of which can be pre-ordered) as well as all the essentials and a small range of local produce.
For families, there is a tennis court, children's playground, trampoline, football pitch and the indoor and outdoor heated pools at the Spa, where children are welcome.
In season you will also have access to fishing and boating. During school holidays, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year, the Lower Mill Estate run a number of events aimed at families such including the famous annual duck race.
The Artspa is a brand new spa with two heated swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) plus an unheated eco-pool (available summer months), sauna, steam room with exclusive and unlimited free use for residents and guests of Clearwater Village.
